The new Curalla's via ferrata is now open

Access : from the A40 highway, leave at Sallanches and go on the direction of le Plateau d'Assy. At the entrace of the village, take left, a sign indicate the Via Ferrata. The parking is a little more higher. From the parking, something like 20 minutes of walk are necessary to acces the start point. |

Description : climb, with the Mont Blanc for panorama. Just for the view, the Via Feratta worth it ! The cliff is pretty vertical and in good stone. Some monkey gates are on the way. The acces to the refuge de Varan is really easy, you just have to follow the direction of Chalet de Curalla from the end of the via ferrata, then continue the way up on the classic route to the refuge de Varan where you can have a fresh drink or a piece of homemade pie after this good effort. |
